Smith & Hanks started over 10 years ago with 2 guys and a shared philosophy on how products and companies should be built.

  1. Products should be functional first and the bells and whistles can be added afterwards.  
  2. If something is broken, fix it. Don't ship product with minor defects because the added cost of the improvement is greater than the cost of returns.  Find the flaws, fix the flaws, repeat the process.
  3. The customer is king. Build value into the product, price the products fairly and make customer service the #1 priority.
